The symbolism of birds, peacocks, and swans runs deep across numerous cultures and religions, adding layers of meaning to these beautiful creations. Birds, in general, have long been associated with freedom, transcendence, and the connection between earthly and spiritual realms. In Christianity, they often represent the Holy Spirit, while in Native American traditions, birds are revered as messengers between humans and the spirit world.
Peacocks, with their resplendent plumage, hold special significance in various belief systems. In Hinduism, the peacock is closely associated with Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity. Christian symbolism links the peacock to immortality and resurrection, while in ancient Greek mythology, these majestic birds were connected to Hera, the queen of the gods. The allure of bird, peacock, and swan-themed collectibles extends far beyond their aesthetic appeal. Collectors of these items, including trinkets, statues, and artworks, are often drawn to them for a variety of reasons. Many appreciate the sheer beauty and grace of these creatures, finding joy in surrounding themselves with representations of nature's elegance. Others are captivated by the rich symbolic meanings associated with these birds, using their collections as a way to connect with cultural and spiritual traditions. • Handmade by the artist Keren Kopal. • Plated with 24K Gold. • Each crystal is handpicked and artistically placed on each piece. • The trinket box has a magnetic fastener to secure the closure. • Every Keren Kopal item is shipped in an elegant black box. • Each item is painted by hand using a unique procedure that combines a distinctive enamel technique inlaid with Austrian crystals.
