The St Benedict Medal Silver Pewter Large with Rope Trim is a beautiful and powerful tool for protection. It can be worn around the neck or placed in a pocket, purse, car, home or other area that needs protection. To use this medal effectively, it must first be blessed by a priest. This blessing ensures that the power of Saint Benedict will remain within the medal and protect its wearer from harm and danger. Once blessed, you may hang the medal around your neck as a reminder to seek God's help when faced with difficult situations. The image of Saint Benedict on one side of the medal symbolizes strength and courage while his cross-shaped signet ring signifies obedience to God's will above all else. On the reverse side are four Latin words: "Crux Sancti Patris Benedicti" which translates to "the Cross of our Holy Father Benedict"; these serve as an additional source of strength for those who wear it faithfully. As you go about your day-to-day life wearing this medal remember that through prayerful meditation on its significance it will become increasingly more effective in protecting you against physical dangers such as accidents or illness but also spiritual ones such as temptations towards sin or fearfulness during trials and tribulations encountered throughout life's journey. Height 45-mm, Width 40-mm, Depth 3-mm. This Pewter Charm Does Not Include a Jump Ring or Split Ring.
